On Tuesday, August 5th, 2008, neighborhoods throughout San Gabriel will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for San Gabriel's "14th Annual National Night Out" (NNO) crime/drug prevention event.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on August 5, 2008, residents in neighborhoods throughout San Gabriel will lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spende the evening outside with their neighbors. Many Neighborhood Watch groups throughout San Gabriel will host block parties, cookouts, and other activities and will be visited by Police, Fire, and City Officials. Taking part in this year's festivities will be KIIS-FM radio, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corp, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and the California National Guard.
